Synopsis :
C.C. Baxter, anonyme employé d'une gigantesque société d'assurances, prête son appartement comme garçonnière à son supérieur. Ce geste lui vaut une promotion mais aussi des ennuis. En effet, le soir de Noël, il découvre chez lui la charmante liftière d'ascenseur de la comédie qui a tenté de se suicider par désespoir...
